Interface audits and clickable prototypes at a fixed price · Porto, Portugal

Felipe IxD

How the studio works

A small design studio with a short list of things it does

Felipe IxD is an interaction-design studio based in Porto, Portugal. "IxD" is the trade's own shorthand for interaction design: deciding how software responds when a person uses it — what each screen shows, what happens on a tap, what the screen says when something fails. The studio name is a label for that work rather than a portrait of anyone.

The studio sells three packages and an add-on, each at a fixed price: an interface audit of one product flow (€1,200), a clickable prototype of one user flow (€2,400), a component sheet of up to thirty components (€3,200), and extra flows on an audit (€450 each). Fixed prices keep the conversation about scope, which is the thing that actually decides how good the result is.

How an order runs

  1. You write in. Through the start-a-package form or by e-mail to [email protected]: which package, which product, which flow.
  2. We send a written scope. Within two working days: screens and states included, what is out, the delivery date and the price.
  3. You accept, and pay the deposit. Half the price, through a secure link sent by e-mail. Nothing is charged before you accept.
  4. We work to checkpoints. You see the work at agreed points, with annotations written alongside it.
  5. Hand-over. Files, written notes and a recorded walk-through. The second half is due then.

Where it works from

The studio works from Porto, in the north of Portugal, and delivers everything by e-mail and shared design files. Sessions with your team happen by video call, in English or Portuguese, during Western European working hours. Teams elsewhere in Europe, and further afield, book packages in exactly the same way.

What it will and will not do

It will draw, annotate, test with your team and explain. It will tell you plainly when a flow is really two flows, or when a problem lies outside design.

  • It does not develop software or write code for you.
  • It does not provide hosting, register domains or manage servers.
  • It does not run marketing, advertising or campaigns.
  • It does not promise conversion, revenue or growth figures.

How to reach it

One mailbox: [email protected], read Monday to Friday. The form on the start-a-package page reaches the same inbox and lets you choose a package and see the price before you send anything. Payment terms and what happens if a job is cancelled are set out on the payment and refunds page.
